INDICATIONS

• Prevents and treats allergy symptoms, such as red, itchy eyes, sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose, or hives.

MOA

• The primary mechanism of antihistamine action in the treatment of allergic diseases is believed to be competitive antagonism of histamine binding to cellular receptors (specifically, the H1-receptors), which are present on nerve endings, smooth muscles, and glandular cells.

MOA

• Cefuroxime works as a bactericidal antibiotics; that by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), inhibits the last step of the bacterial cell wall synthesis.
• Clavulanic acid inactivates some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, therefore preventing enzymatic destruction of amoxicillin.
